Lost: Saxophones in Southwest MS.

On Friday night, around 11:20 p.m., I was wrapping up a small jazz jam near the Natchez Riverfront in Southwest MS, Mississippi. The two saxophones were in a soft black case with a silver zipper, tucked beside a bench near Canal Street by the Natchez Visitor Center. When I stood to stretch after the last note, they were gone. The memory of my mother’s first gig and the way the notes sang when I practiced as a kid haunt me in the quiet air. The river whispered and the streetlamps glowed, but the hollow space where the saxophones sat feels louder than any melody. If anyone found them near Canal Street or the Natchez Visitor Center, I’d be grateful for any word through the site.

LOST handheld and console in Southwest MS, Mississippi

My name is Cameron Reed, and last Friday around 6:45 PM I realized my handheld gaming device and a console were missing from my backpack while I was on Main Street in downtown Brookhaven. I’d paused near the courthouse for a quick bite, then stepped away and found the items gone. I retraced my steps, asked a few shop owners, but nothing turned up. This device is my way to unwind after long shifts, so it means a lot to me to recover it. If you found them, please reply to this post so we can coordinate through the site.

Lost rabbits in Southwest MS

I was unloading groceries at around 4:20 p.m. last Saturday near the courthouse square in Brookhaven when my two rabbits slipped from their carrier. They’re both young: one white with gray spots, the other brown with a distinct ear patch. I’ve had them since they were tiny, and the kids are worried they’re out there by themselves somewhere. It feels like a cold knot in my stomach at night, thinking of them cold and hungry. If you’ve seen two rabbits hopping toward Willow Street or the park area behind the courthouse, please help me bring them home.

Lost holiday decorations near the town square

I was tidying up after decorating the house when I realized my holiday decorations were missing. I last saw them around 7:15 PM yesterday in the driveway of my Southwest MS home on Main Street, near the town square. The set includes a string of red-and-green lights, a brass star, and several handmade ornaments that belonged to my grandmother. Those decorations carry a lot of family memories, and I am hurt to think they have been taken. If you have seen anything or picked them up by mistake, I would be grateful for their return.

LOST: Chargers in Southwest MS

Hi, I’m Tammy Reed. I lost my chargers this afternoon; they’re a black braided cord set with a teal adapter. I was on Main Street in Brookhaven around 3:45 PM Tuesday, after grabbing a bite at a deli, when I realized they were gone from the car seat. Those chargers are essential for my laptop and phone while I’m on the road in Southwest MS, and I feel stranded without them in this heat. If you found them near the old courthouse on Main Street or by Pike Plaza, please hold onto them until I can get back to town.

Lost postcards from Natchez town square

I was in Natchez, Southwest Mississippi, around 3:15 PM on Saturday, jotting notes to send to my grandmother and waiting near the Natchez Town Square. I set a small stack of vintage postcards on a bench by the Natchez Visitor Center and forgot to pick them up before we walked away. The cards date from the 1950s to 1960s, with handwritten messages on the backs and scenes of the riverfront and Canal Street. It feels like a piece of my family's history slipped away, and I hope someone found them and kept them safe.
