Found black case with prescription reading glasses near Southern Illinois University park.

I found a black case containing prescription reading glasses while walking my dog in the park near Southern Illinois University. The glasses have a slight scratch on the left lens, but otherwise they seem to be in good condition. If they belong to anyone in the area, please get in touch, I'd love to return them.

Black Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses with blue temples

Lost my black Ray-Ban Wayfarer-style glasses with blue temple tips yesterday around 3pm on the SIU campus in Carbondale, near the Student Center by the fountain outside the Rotunda. They're matte black with a slim silver ridge along the top edge. Inside the right temple there's a tiny engraving 'PP', and the left lens has a faint scratch from a stumble last week. They’re prescription and I really need them back; I can’t see well without them and they’ve started to feel like a lifeline. If you found them, email me at [email protected] and we can figure a safe place to swap.

Black rectangular glasses with blue-tipped temples

I lost my black rectangular glasses yesterday around 3pm near the Carbondale Public Library on Main Street. They’re a slim black metal frame with rectangular lenses, and the temple tips are bright blue. There’s a tiny scratch on the left lens and a small engraving 'LK' on the inner right temple. They were a gift from my grandmother and mean a lot to me, so I’m really hoping someone picked them up by mistake. If you found them, please text or call me—I can’t read well without them and really need them back.

LOST Holiday Decorations in Southern Illinois

I was decorating for Christmas at 3:15 PM last Friday in my apartment on University Street in Carbondale when the box of holiday decorations disappeared from the dining room table. The garlands, ribbons, and a fragile glass star were all there a moment before. The room smells of pine and cinnamon, and my heart sank as I realized they were gone. I’ve retraced my steps through the living room and kitchen, and I even asked a neighbor who stopped by, but nothing turned up. These decorations aren’t just things — they carry memories from last year’s family gathering. I’m holding onto hope they’ll turn up in someone’s attic or closet and find their way back to our home.
