I lost my black North Face Borealis backpack yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Main Street in Carbondale. It's a 28-liter bag, a little scuffed on the bottom, with a bright yellow zipper pull and a small stitched mountain badge on the front pocket. Inside there's my 15-inch laptop charger, a spiral notebook with math notes, and a photo of my grandma tucked in the inner pocket. I found a black Korg microKORG synth with an orange front panel this afternoon around 3:15pm in the parking lot behind the SIU Student Center on University Avenue in Carbondale, Southern Illinois. It's in decent condition, a few fingerprints on the keys, and it's tucked into a weathered black gig bag with a red sticker of a cat on the side. There's a small handwritten tag on the bag that says 'For practice, please return', not sure if that's the owner's note, but it stood out. If you own it or know who it belongs to, please reach out; this is something the owner likely uses for gigs, and I'd want to help get it back.
