14k yellow gold ring with diamond, engraved inside

I lost my 14k yellow gold ring yesterday around 3pm near the Public Library on Main Street in downtown Cape Girardeau, Southeast Missouri. It's a size 6 solitaire with a small round diamond, set in a simple prong setting, and the band shows a few wear scratches with a subtle brushed finish. Inside the band is engraved 'A.J. 2009' and there’s a tiny crescent-shaped engraving along the outer edge near 2 o'clock. This ring means the world to me—it's a family heirloom from my grandmother, and I really need to have it back.
