Lost shopping bags near Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center
At 7:15 PM last Thursday, I realized my two shopping bags were missing as I was leaving the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center parking lot. I had a blue reusable tote and a couple of grocery bags with a loaf of sourdough, a warm scarf, and a small notebook tucked inside. The windy path along the overlook near the glacier offered a breathtaking view, but my stomach dropped thinking they might have been picked up by someone else. I hope they’re somewhere safe, especially the notebook with my plans for the weekend.
Found sports equipment in Southeast Alaska
I found a black duffel bag stuffed with a mix of sports gear on a bench at the Juneau waterfront, near the cruise ship dock, around 6:20 pm on July 3. Inside there’s a basketball, two tennis rackets, knee pads, and a faded rugby jersey, all tucked under a light-blue towel. The bag looks recently dropped and has a worn patch that says 'Practice' on a pocket. I know how stressful it is to misplace your gear before practice or a game, so I’m posting here to help it find its owner. If this sounds like yours, please check this listing and claim it on the site.
Lost set of woodworking chisels in a dark blue canvas case last seen in Southeast Alaska.
I misplaced a set of woodworking chisels while working on some projects in my garage. I believe they fell out of my tool bag while moving equipment around. The chisels are in a dark blue canvas case, and I last used them about a week ago in Southeast Alaska. If anyone finds them, I would really appreciate getting them back!
LOST: Sheet Music in Southeast Alaska
I was stepping out of the Alaska State Museum in Juneau at 4:10 p.m. yesterday when a folder of sheet music slipped from my bag and dropped to the pavement by the entrance. The blue binder contains pieces I’ve been practicing for an upcoming recital, some of them hand-written margins and notes I value. Losing it in Southeast Alaska feels like losing a small piece of my schedule and nerves, so I’m hoping someone picked it up and kept it safe.
