I was flipping through my orange Lonely Planet travel guide yesterday around 3pm near the Santa Maria Public Library on Broadway when a gust whipped it out of my tote. It's a softcover, about 6 by 9 inches, well-used with a creased spine and a couple of dog-eared pages, and the cover shows a bright orange design with a small map sketch. Inside there's a faded red bookmark ribbon and a pencil note in the back with my handwriting about a tapas bar in Madrid.
