I was loading up after a gig near the Sandusky Bay Boardwalk around 6:15 p.m. on Friday when I realized my saxophones weren't in the case anymore. They’re two horns—an older alto with a chipped lacquer and a tenor with a dent at the bell—and they mean a lot to me, passed down from my grandfather. I felt the cool lake breeze and watched the lights flicker along Water Street as I retraced steps toward the boardwalk. It hurts to think they may be somewhere out there, waiting to be found and brought back home.
