Missing person: 11-year-old Leila Farouk, San Diego
I lost my little sister Leila Farouk yesterday afternoon. She was last seen around 3pm near Seaport Village along the Embarcadero in San Diego. Leila is 11 years old, about 4'10" tall, with curly dark hair, wearing a pink hoodie, gray jeans, and pink sneakers; she also carries a green backpack with a yellow star and wears pink-framed glasses when she reads. Found a silver pocket watch this afternoon around 2:15pm in the Gaslamp Quarter, Market Street near Fifth Avenue, just outside a vintage shop. It's an open-face watch about 4.5 cm in diameter, with a sunburst pattern on the cover and the initials J.R. engraved inside the back, plus a short tarnished silver chain. The glass has a tiny chip on the edge, but the watch still ticks when you shake it.
