I was strolling near Main Street Square in Rapid City around 6:45 p.m. last Friday when I spotted a set of saxophones leaning against a bench by the fountain. The black case looked worn from travel, stickers peeling, and one bell had a small dent from a rough bump. There wasn't an owner in sight, just the hum of traffic and the glow of the streetlamps. I turned them in at the Rapid City Police Department's Lost and Found to make sure they could get home to the right person.

I was tidying up behind the counter near the Dahl Arts Center on 6th Street in Rapid City around 6:15 PM last Friday when a stack of DVDs slid out from behind a chair. The cases range from action flicks to indie titles, some with sun-faded covers and a couple of kids' films tucked in the middle. I picked them up and scanned for a name, but there wasn't anything obvious—no receipts, no notes. On Monday, June 21, around 9:45 AM, I found a small pair of silver studs behind a planter at Main Street Square in Rapid City. They looked recently dropped, with a hint of turquoise inlay that caught the morning sun. I left them on a bench by the fountain, hoping the owner would notice them and realize they were missing. They’re modest but meaningful; I figured someone might miss them during their downtown errands.

I was stepping off the Rapid City bus around 2:10 p.m. today when I spotted a small red pouch with a dozen enamel pins on a bench by Main Street Square, just behind the Journey Museum & Gardens. The pins look like a personal collection—one shows Mount Rushmore, another a local skate brand, and several travel motifs. I picked up the pouch and kept it safe, posting here in the hope the owner will recognize them and claim them. They’re probably important to someone, so I’m letting the site handle reunification from here.
