I lost my red canvas tote with gray trim yesterday around 3pm near the Cameron Village Shopping Center, outside Harris Teeter on Wade Avenue in Raleigh. It’s a medium tote (about 14 inches tall) with a worn leather top edge and a small front pocket. Inside I keep a spiral notebook, a blue umbrella, and a tiny photo sleeve of my grandmother. I found a navy suit near Raleigh Union Station around 6:15 p.m. on Friday. It was draped over a chair by the cafe outside the main entrance, neatly pressed with a charcoal tie still attached to the pocket square. The garment bag lay on the ground nearby, almost like someone had planned a quick departure. I handed it to the station's Lost & Found, hoping the owner would surface soon. It looks like it was cared for, not left in a rush, and I hate to think of someone going from meeting to meeting without their suit.
