Black Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses found with red case
I found a pair of black Ray-Ban Wayfarer-style glasses this afternoon around 4pm near the Port Huron Maritime Center on Water Street, right by the river walk. They’re in decent shape with a tiny scuff on the left temple and 'KB' engraved inside the right temple as unique identifiers. The set came with a red zipper case and a gray microfiber cloth tucked inside. These glasses look well-loved and I figured they probably belong to someone who really needs them for reading and daily tasks. If these are yours, we can meet near Fort Gratiot Lighthouse to verify ownership.
Framed lighthouse watercolor with gold accents
I found a framed watercolor painting this afternoon around 2:15 pm near the Port Huron Museum on McMorran Place. It's a 9x12 inch print in a light pine frame, with glass that’s a bit wavy. The painting shows a lighthouse at sunset in blues and pinks, with a thin gold accent along the horizon. There’s a faint signature in the bottom right that reads 'A. Kim' and a small back-label from the Blue Water Art Walk. I figured someone might be searching for it, so I’m posting here in hopes the owner recognizes it and can reclaim it.
Leopard gecko, yellow with black spots, ~4 inches
I lost my leopard gecko yesterday around 3pm near Lighthouse Park on Huron Street in Port Huron. It's a small, about 4 inches long, gecko with sandy-yellow skin and irregular brown spots along its back. The tail is a bit chunkier than you'd expect, with a dark band near the base, and there's a tiny white scar on its right shoulder from a past handling. It was in a small glass terrarium with a green lid and a cork hide; I think it slipped out when I opened the car door briefly. This gecko belongs to my 9-year-old daughter and has a lot of sentimental value—really hoping to get it back!
