I was out with my dogs at the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach around 6:15 PM yesterday when the leashes slipped from my hands during a quick dash after a seagull. The straps snagged on a bench by the Balboa Pier, and now I can't find them along the boardwalk toward the lifeguard tower. Those leashes were our daily safety and a lifeline for two rescue dogs who rely on me. If anyone finds them, I’ll be forever grateful—these are more than gear, they’re part of our routine and our bond.
