Lost dog: small beagle mix, tan and white
I lost my beagle mix, Rio, yesterday around 3pm. He's a small-to-medium dog, about 25 pounds, with tan and white fur and a distinctive black patch over his right eye. He’s wearing a red nylon collar with a round silver tag that says Rio, and he has a small white heart-shaped patch on his chest along with a tiny notch in his right ear. I was at the Oneonta Public Library on Main Street when he darted after a jogger's dog and disappeared toward Neahwa Park; I’ve been panicked since then because he’s timid but super loving and really important to me, like a family member. If you’ve seen him, please email me at [email protected] or text me—no questions asked, I just want him home.

Found medication bottle near Main Street, Oneonta
I was walking my dog along Main Street by the Oneonta Public Library at about 8:15 this morning when I spotted a small white bottle lying on the curb. It looked like prescription meds, with a clear label and a red cap, untouched but out of place on the concrete. I picked it up and kept it safe in my tote while I finished my loop, feeling a mix of concern and relief. I know how anxious it can be to lose medication, so I am posting here in hopes the owner will see this and know it is safe.
