I’m Casey Kim, and I found a pair of sandals lying on the sidewalk outside the Union Station in Ogden around 9:45 AM on Saturday. One sandal has a blue strap with a tiny anchor; the other is tan with a scuff along the strap. They looked like they’d been dropped after a morning hike toward Clearfield. If these belong to you, remember the sandals were left near the station steps. It felt good to help out a neighbor and reunite them with their summertime footwear.

Found shopping bags in Ogden near Union Station

I found a stack of shopping bags on the curb outside a small market near Union Station in Ogden around 4:15 PM today. They were a mix of a brown grocery bag and a blue reusable tote, nothing with a name tag. I picked them up because the wind was trying to take them away, and I hate thinking someone might lose them. I checked the contents quickly but all I saw were groceries and flyers, no obvious clue to who they belong to. I was out for a morning stroll along the Ogden River Parkway when I found a couple of dog collars lying by the trailhead near Union Station on 25th Street. One is a blue nylon collar with a small brass buckle; the other a red leather collar with a chipped tag. They smell faintly of sunscreen and fresh air, and it just doesn’t sit right to leave them there. I brought them home to keep them safe until the owners can be reached through the site.

Found microwaves near Ogden Union Station.

I found two microwaves in the parking lot behind the Ogden Union Station at 4:20 PM today. One has a dent in the lower left corner and the other has a faded sticker on the door. They look like they were left behind in a hurry, possibly after a family move or a long commute. It felt a little odd to see them there, but I figured someone must be looking for them and could use a heads-up that they’re here. They don’t feel particularly valuable, but they might be important to the owner who relied on them daily in their kitchen.

Navy North Face parka with orange lining

I found a navy blue North Face parka this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Walgreens on 24th Street in Ogden. It's a men's size Large and in pretty good condition, with minor wear on the cuffs. The bright orange inner lining peeks out when you unzip it, and there's a small purple mountain pin on the left sleeve that stands out. The hood has a faux fur trim that's still intact. I know how easy it is to misplace a coat in this weather, and I’d love to help reunite it with its owner.
