Lost Guitars in Northwest Georgia

I lost my two guitars after a small gig at a cafe in downtown Dalton around 6:30 PM on September 3. One is a black Fender Stratocaster with a scuffed pickguard; the other is a sunburst Yamaha in a padded gig bag. I swung by the nearby diner on West Walnut Street to warm up after the set, but the bag vanished when I went back to retrieve my coat from the car. Those guitars carry years of Northwest Georgia gigs and memories, and I’m hoping they’re simply resting somewhere between the square and the railroad tracks.

Tan leather tote with gold hardware

I lost my tan leather crossbody tote yesterday around 3pm near the CVS on Broad Street in downtown Rome, GA. It's a medium-sized Coach tote with a gold zipper and a pink tassel charm that hangs from the zipper pull. The bag is in decent condition, but the light-colored lining shows a bit of wear and a coffee stain on the front corner. Inside sits a small plastic photo strip of my grandmother and a receipt from the Red Rooster cafe. It truly has sentimental value—my grandmother gave me the tote years ago, and I really need it back to feel whole again.

Found utensils near Dalton Train Depot, GA.

At around 11:10 AM on Sunday, I was walking through downtown Dalton in Northwest GA and found a small set of utensils dumped by the curb near the Dalton Train Depot. It looked like a mismatched collection—two forks, a spoon, and a butter knife—with worn wooden handles. They were lying on the sidewalk next to a discarded tote bag, half-hidden by a vending machine sign. I picked them up to keep them from getting stepped on and brought them here, hoping they belong to someone who can recognize them. It’s a practical find, and I know how frustrating it is to lose something so simple.

Found Organizers in Northwest GA

This morning around 9:15 a.m., I found someone else’s Organizers near the Clock Tower on Broad Street in downtown Rome, Northwest GA. They’re a few plastic file organizers, blue and orange, left in a neat little pile on the sidewalk, possibly dropped from a tote bag. I picked them up and kept them safe, hoping the owner would see this post. If these belong to you, please reach out through the site so we can arrange a pickup.
