Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Lost action figures in North Mississippi

On Thursday evening, around 8:05 pm, I realized my two action figures were missing from my tote while I was wandering around Oxford's Courthouse Square in North Mississippi. They’re two old figures—one with a red cape, the other in blue—both faded from years of play. I’ve held onto them since my younger days, and losing them feels like letting go of a little piece of childhood. If you found them lying on Main Street or around the square, please know they’d mean the world to me.

Tank Accessories LOST near Oxford's Historic Square.

I was wrapping up a quick setup for a hobby project on Oxford's Historic Square last Saturday, around 3:10 p.m., when I realized I lost my tank accessories from my backpack. The kit includes a small metal clamp, two black hoses, and a blue toolbox lid—common but essential for the build I’m working on. I searched the Square—around the bookstores, the coffee shop, and the parking lot behind the row of shops—but nothing turned up. It’s frustrating because these pieces help me finish things I’m proud of, and I’d hate to lose them. If someone picked them up by mistake, I hope they’re returned to the Square where they belong.

Lost synthesizers in North Mississippi, Mississippi.

At 9:15 p.m. last Friday, after a small gig at a rehearsal room on West Main Street in Tupelo, I realized my two portable synthesizers were missing from the stacked keyboard rack. They're compact black models, one with a red scuff on the corner and a sticker that says 'A3B'. I retraced my steps through the studio, and I talked to the staff at a nearby cafe on Main Street, but nothing turned up. I rely on those machines for my shows and my composing, so it feels like losing a part of myself. If someone found them, please know they're precious to me, and they'd be returned through the site.

Lost sheet music at Oxford Town Square

I lost my sheet music on Friday at 5:15 p.m. in downtown Oxford, right outside the town square after a quick espresso run. I had been rehearsing scales on a wooden bench by the old courthouse and turned away for a minute; the stack disappeared from the bench as I stepped back. The sheets are in a light blue binder, with pencil markings and a few dog-eared pages from a rushed practice. Those pieces matter to me for an upcoming recital, and I'm hoping a kind passerby who found them will return them through this site.

Lost utensils near Oxford Town Square

Today around 9:15 a.m., I realized my utensils were missing after unloading groceries from my car in Oxford Town Square, near the courthouse on Main Street. I had stepped into the library briefly, and when I came back to the curb, the compact stainless-steel set in a black zip pouch was gone. The pouch is a little worn, the knife has a wooden handle, and a few of the forks are shiny from everyday use. These utensils aren't fancy, but they're mine and I need them for cooking at home. If found, please drop them at the information desk on the square so I can pick them up through the site.
