Blue hardcover mystery novel with skyline embossing

New York City Lost listing Posted 4 months ago

Description

I lost my blue hardcover mystery novel yesterday around 3pm outside the Strand Bookstore on Broadway near 12th Street. It's a navy blue cloth cover with a subtle city skyline embossing and a gold spine; there’s a small dent on the top edge. Inside, a green subway-map bookmark sticks out at page 214 and there’s a faint coffee stain along the bottom corner. It’s sentimental to me—my late aunt gave it to me, and NYC detective stories were our thing. If anyone found it, I’d be so grateful to get it back; it feels like a piece of the city I shared with her.
