It's a slim paperback, about 5 by 3 inches, with a red cover that shows wear and a blue fabric bookmark ribbon sticking out from page 72, plus a coffee spill on the back and a creased spine. Inside, a blue-ink note on page 68 is tucked in as a personal bookmark.
