Found wrist watches in downtown Montgomery
I was walking along Dexter Avenue near the Civil Rights Memorial at 4:30 PM on a sunny Thursday when I spotted two wrist watches lying on the curb outside a coffee shop. I picked them up and checked for clues, but there were no names or contact info. One watch has a black leather strap and a silver case; the other has a blue fabric band and a scratched glass face. I’d feel lucky if the owner recognized them, and it made me think about how small items carry memories. I brought them here hoping they can be reunited with someone who needs them as much as I would if I were missing mine.
