Silver ring with emerald found near Monroe Library

I found a silver ring with a small emerald this afternoon around 2:45pm. It's a slim, polished band roughly a size 6, with a tiny engraving on the inner edge that reads 'J.E.' and a tiny star-shaped cutout in the setting. I found it outside the Monroe Public Library on Main Street, near the crosswalk to the Monroe Town Center. If you lost it, I’d love to help get it back—it's meaningful and I know how much it can mean.
