Silver Timex Ironman watch with black strap
Found a silver Timex Ironman watch this afternoon around 3:15 pm near the Milwaukee Public Market on Water Street. It has a black resin strap and a digital display with white numerals, plus an Indiglo backlight button that still works. There's a small scratch on the bezel and a faint scuff on the glass from being on the ground by the bike racks outside the market entrance. I picked it up from the gravel near the bike racks and kept it safe in my bag, in case its owner is looking for it. If this belongs to you, we can meet in a public spot downtown to swap it back; I really hope its owner gets it back soon.

I was tidying a corner outside Colectivo Coffee at 6:15 p.m. on a Tuesday when I spotted a crumpled bundle of sheet music wedged under a bench by the Milwaukee Riverwalk. The pages rustled in the breeze, a coffee ring darkening the top sheet, and someone’s tempo marks penciled in the margins. It felt like a tiny voice asking to be returned to its owner. I slid the sheets into a folder and stood watch for a moment, hoping the owner would recognize it. I’ll keep it here safe until it’s claimed.
