Beige Samsonite suitcase with blue tag
Description
I lost my beige 24-inch Samsonite rolling suitcase yesterday around 3pm near the Merced Transit Center on G Street by 14th Street. It’s a hard-shell suitcase with some scuffs on the corners and a bright blue luggage tag with the initials 'PM' dangling from the handle, plus a red fabric strap I wrapped around the middle to keep the wheels from wobbling. Inside are everyday clothes, a small photo album, and my grandmother's keepsake locket—stuff with real sentimental value I can't replace. I really need it back; it holds irreplaceable memories and some important documents. If anyone found it, I’d be grateful to get it back; I can meet you somewhere in Merced to collect it.

How to safely get your item back
A short checklist to protect you and the item during the handoff.
Verify the finder before meeting

- Request a clear photo of the item from an angle you did not post.
- Do not pay any release, shipping, or storage fee.
- Do not share your full address until you have verified them.
Meet in a safe, public place
- Police stations, café entrances, transport hubs, and shop foyers all work.
- Meet during daylight hours where there is CCTV and foot traffic.
- Avoid private homes, car parks at night, or isolated locations.
Bring someone with you
- Tell a friend or family member where you are meeting and when.
