It was around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday, near the entry to the Orpheum Theatre, when the crowd started to thin and I hurried to the car. The radios are in a worn black case; inside, one is gray with a small sticker and the other is matte black. They’re more than gear to me—they were my dad’s, and fixing the old tubes kept his memory close.
