Found sandals near the McAllen Convention Center

This afternoon, around 5:45 p.m., I spotted a pair of tan sandals near the entrance to the McAllen Convention Center, by the glass doors facing 10th Street. They looked well-worn but cared for, with a pink bead on one strap and a slightly frayed edge on the sole. I picked them up and checked for a label, but there was nothing. It felt like they belonged to someone who had been walking the nearby events at the market. I’m hoping the owner sees this and recognizes them by the wear and that little pink bead. I found them in the McAllen/Edinburg area and figured I’d post here in case they’re someone’s everyday favorites.

Found: Sculptures near McAllen Civic Center

I was walking outside the McAllen Civic Center around 6:45 p.m. last Thursday when I found a tote behind a planter by the side entrance. Inside were three sculptures - two small metal figures and a larger carved piece, all dusty from a recent display. They looked like they belonged together, like a small collection someone had set down while rushing off. I picked them up and brought them to a bench to check for labels, hoping the owner would see this post. I will keep them safe here and hope the rightful owner sees this listing.

Found xylophones in McAllen/Edinburg, TX

At 11:05 AM today, outside La Plaza Mall in McAllen, a pair of wooden xylophones in a red case clattered onto the curb and caught my attention. The case bears a faded sticker that reads 'Youth Orchestra' and two mallets tucked inside still wrapped in tissue. It looks like someone was in a rush after a rehearsal here between McAllen and Edinburg and left them behind. I found these skirts this morning while I was tidying up outside a thrift store on 10th Street in Edinburg, around 11:30 a.m. They’re three skirts in bright floral and bold stripes, a mix of sizes that look worn but loved. Found synthesizers near La Plaza Mall, McAllen

I FOUND a bundle of synthesizers behind La Plaza Mall in McAllen around 9:15 a.m. yesterday, near the back loading dock after I heard some clanks from the area. I brought the gear to the mall security desk in case someone was missing it during shoppers’ morning rush. The equipment looks used but functional, with a couple of sticky notes and a dent here and there. If these belong to you, I hope you’ll recognize them and claim them soon.
