I found a dog this afternoon around 4pm near Riverfront Park along Front Street in Mankato. It's a medium-sized tan-and-white mixed breed with a fluffy tail, about 40 pounds, and it wears a bright blue collar with a round silver tag that reads 'Buddy.' The dog is friendly but a bit nervous and comes right to me when I call; there's a small heart-shaped white patch on his left foreleg that makes him easy to spot. I'm keeping him safe for now and really hope his owner is nearby—if you recognize him, please reach out.
