Description
I was walking my dogs along the Eastern Promenade in Portland at 7:30 p.m. last Sunday when a gust pulled, and two leashes slipped from my hand. One leash is a bright orange retractable, the other a navy nylon backup with a chipped clip. I scanned the rocks near Bug Light and along the seawall, but the evening crowds and the tide swallowed any clues. These leashes are the only ones that fit my dogs, and I’m anxious they’ll wander if I don’t find them soon.
