Found a vintage mirror with an ornate golden frame and slightly fogged glass near a park in Lynchburg.
I found a stunning vintage mirror while walking my dog near the park in Lynchburg. It has an ornate golden frame, and the glass is slightly fogged, which adds to its charm. I believe it fell off of someone's truck since it was not damaged. If it's yours, please reach out!
6-quart Calphalon stock pot with glass lid
I lost my 6-quart Calphalon stainless stock pot yesterday around 3pm. It’s the shiny brushed-silver pot with a long handle and a glass lid that has a tiny chip on the rim. The bottom is etched with the initials 'LA', and there’s a faint coffee-ring mark around the exterior from a mug that sat on it. I last saw it near the Lynchburg City Market on Market Street, by the food stalls, while I was helping a neighbor unload groceries. This pot is sentimental because it was a gift from my grandmother, and I really need it back. If anyone found it, please drop me a message—I'll be forever grateful.
Leopard gecko in glass terrarium, orange tail tip
Yesterday around 3pm I lost my leopard gecko. It's about 4 inches long, sandy tan with dark brown spots and a bright orange tail tip, and it was in a 12x8 inch glass terrarium with a black lid. I last had it outside the CVS on Fort Avenue in Lynchburg while I grabbed groceries; the terrarium has a cork hide and a small heat lamp inside. The gecko has a faint white dot at the base of its tail and a crescent-shaped scar behind its left front leg. If you spot it, please text me—this little guy means a lot to me and I’m really worried.
Sculptures lost near Lynchburg Riverfront Park
Hi, I’m Sophia Bennett. Last Saturday around 9:45 p.m., I left two sculptures on a bench by the fountain at Riverfront Park in downtown Lynchburg while I chatted with a friend. They’re two pieces: one bronze figure about two feet tall, and a glass orb mounted on a silver stand. When I turned back, they were gone. I’m heartbroken because the pieces were meant for a community show tomorrow, and I’m worried they’ll be damaged or stolen. If you saw anything around Riverfront Park by the James River, or if someone handed them in to the park office, please let me know and I’ll come for them.
