I found a blue 14-inch snare drum this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the Lynchburg Public Library on Main Street. The shell is a matte blue with a small dent on the rim and a few scuffs along the edge; chrome hardware shows some wear and the head looks a bit loose but still in playable shape. It lives in a black padded gig bag that has a bright neon green panda sticker and the zipper pull is scratched with the initials 'AJ'. I know how easy it is to misplace gear you use for practice and gigs, so I kept it safe in my car and I would really like to help it find its owner. I lost my black Nike running shoes at the park near Percival's Island in Lynchburg on Saturday afternoon. They are a size 10 and have some orange detailing. I was there for a jog and mistakenly left them behind on a bench while grabbing a water bottle from my bag. If anyone finds them, I would really appreciate getting them back!

Found a camel-colored pebbled leather handbag this afternoon around 3:05 pm behind the Virginian Hotel on Court Street in downtown Lynchburg. It’s a medium tote with gold-tone hardware and a tan lining. Inside there’s a turquoise luggage tag with the initials 'LA' and a pink silk scarf tied to the zipper pull, plus a small makeup compact and a folded receipt from a bakery on Main Street. The bag is in decent condition, just a bit worn at the bottom corner.
