A black baseball cap, a gray beanie, and a tan sunhat with a ribbon sat together as if waiting for someone to notice them. They looked cared for, not tossed, and I could tell someone probably realized they were missing after a long day. I checked for a name tag but found nothing that could help. I brought them to this site, hoping the owner will recognize them and reclaim what's theirs. It felt hopeful to think a small piece of someone’s daily routine could be returned to them.
