Red paperback Pride and Prejudice with fox bookmark

Lexington Lost listing Posted 2 months ago

Description

I lost my red paperback copy of Pride and Prejudice yesterday around 3pm near the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington, specifically by Limestone Street and the Albert B. Chandler Hospital entrance. It's a well-loved edition, with a small coffee stain on the back cover and a fox-shaped bookmark tucked between pages 112 and 113. The cover is slightly creased from daily use, and there's a faint imprint of a library stamp on the inside page. This book was a gift from my grandmother, so it means more to me than any new read. If you happen to have it, I’d be grateful to hear from you at [email protected].

  • Request a clear photo of the item from an angle you did not post.
  • Do not pay any release, shipping, or storage fee.

Meet in a safe, public place
  • Police stations, café entrances, transport hubs, and shop foyers all work.

  • Avoid private homes, car parks at night, or isolated locations.
Bring someone with you
  • Tell a friend or family member where you are meeting and when.
  • Share your live location with them during the handoff.
  • For high-value items, consider contacting your local police station for advice first.
