Found pocket watch near Riverfront Park, Lewiston

I was walking along Lewiston's Riverfront Park on Friday at 5:42 p.m. when I spotted a pocket watch sitting on a bench by the railing. The brass case shows wear, the glass carries a nick, and the back is engraved with the initials J.S. I wiped away the dust, tucked it into my coat, and tried to imagine its story. There was no note or chain, just a quiet reminder that some keepsakes travel with someone’s day. I’m posting here in case the owner sees it and can claim it soon.
