I last saw them on the coffee table by the sofa and I retraced my steps through the hallway to the back door, checking behind the radiator and under the stairs on Kirkstall Road. The set includes a red-and-gold tinsel garland, a string of tiny LED snowflakes, and a small blue paper lantern. It felt like a little piece of Christmas slipped away, and I’m hoping someone who passed by Briggate last night might have found them and kept them safe.
