Yesterday at 6:30 p.m., I realized my favorite stainless utensils vanished from the tote I left outside the Lawton Public Library on Fort Sill Boulevard. I’d just walked from a friend's place and was cooling off in the library courtyard when I noticed the empty pocket. I retraced my steps along Fort Sill Boulevard toward the library steps and past the little coffee cart, hoping they’d be tucked under a chair, but they were gone. Those utensils aren’t just metal—they were a gift from my grandmother and mean a lot to me.
