I was outside the Bellagio fountains on the Las Vegas Strip around 11:20 p.m. Friday after a late rehearsal, when I realized my saxophones were missing. They’re a black lacquer tenor sax and a silver alto sax, both with worn cases; one has a sticker near the handle. The thought of having to explain this to my band in the morning hits me hard, since gigs matter to us and money’s tight.
