Lost hoops near Old Mesilla Plaza, Las Cruces

At 6:15 PM yesterday, after grabbing a latte on Main Street, I realized my hoops weren’t in my pocket anymore. I’d wandered from the Mesilla Valley Mall toward Old Mesilla Plaza, hoping the breeze had simply tugged them loose from my jacket. I checked the sidewalk, the little fountain by the plaza, and the shop doorway where I paused for a breath, but they were gone. Those hoops are the one tiny piece from my grandmother I still wear, and losing them hurts more than I expected. If someone found them, I’d be grateful to have them back.

Lost sheet music near Pan Am Center
