Found black Samsung Galaxy phone near Riverside Park with a sunset wallpaper, not turning on.
I found a black Samsung Galaxy phone near Riverside Park in La Crosse yesterday afternoon. It's in good condition but isn't turning on, so I assume the battery might be dead. There was no lock screen, and I could see a wallpaper of a sunset. If it belongs to you, please describe the phone, and I'll be happy to return it!
Found dog: tan/white border collie mix
I found a medium-sized dog this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Riverside Park entrance on 3rd Street in La Crosse. It's a tan and white border collie mix, about 45 pounds, with a fluffy tail and one ear that sticks up while the other flops. It wears a bright blue collar with a small bone-shaped tag that reads 'Bailey' and has a phone number on the back. The dog is friendly and seems well cared for, just a bit dusty from the stroll along the trail. I kept it close and brought it to a safe spot near the park kiosk while I started this post. If this dog belongs to you or someone you know, please message me so we can arrange a safe meetup and get Bailey back home - it's stressful when a dog goes missing.
Blue glucose meter in blue case with lime lining
I dropped my glucose meter yesterday around 3pm near the Riverside Park entrance off Jay Street in La Crosse. It's an Accu-Chek glucose meter tucked into a dark blue hard case, about the size of a small phone, with a lime-green interior and a tiny paw-print sticker on the front. I keep a few test strips in a clear sleeve inside, and there’s a faint dent on the bottom corner from a drop. This device is essential for my daily diabetes management, and it feels really personal to me—my mom gave me the case as a gift years ago. If anyone finds it, I’d really appreciate getting it back.
