LOST: pocket watches near Bronson Park.

I lost my pocket watches this Friday at 10:20 a.m. while strolling downtown Kalamazoo, near Bronson Park. One is a silver hunter-case with a delicate engraving of my grandmother's initials, the other a brass pocket watch with a tiny crack and a faded chain. They’ve been in my family for generations, so the thought of losing them makes my chest tighten with worry and hope. I retraced my steps along West Michigan Avenue and by the band shell, but the morning crowds made it hard to tell where they went.
