Saturday around 9:30 p.m., I was finishing a quick walk along Ocean Avenue near the Seaside Heights boardwalk when the latch on Milo and Nibbles gave way and they slipped from their carrier. Milo is light brown with a white belly; Nibbles is gray with a faint black stripe and both are tiny, curious things. I chased them through neon lights, past the hot dog stands and the arcade games, toward the Jenkinson's Boardwalk entrance, calling their names. They vanished into a crevice between a concession stand and a bike rack, and my heart sank. If you spotted anything, please know I’m holding my breath, hoping they’re safe.
