Hi, I’m Daniel Brooks. I’m feeling anxious after realizing my two paintings never made it out of my studio last night. It was around 7:42 p.m. on Tuesday when I left them leaning against the wall outside the Johnson Museum’s entrance, just off Ho Plaza, while I rushed to catch the bus. The canvases are fairly large: one shows a stormy lake, the other a sunlit field—both are my own work and signed in the corner. I’m hoping someone found them and kept them safe.
