Found sable German Shepherd near Old Town Eureka
I found a dog this afternoon around 2:15pm in Old Town Eureka, near the Boardwalk by the Humboldt Bay. He's a sable German Shepherd mix, about 60 pounds, with a bright blue collar and a small white patch on his chest. There's a silver ID tag that reads 'Rex' and a tiny notch in his left ear. He was friendly and walked calmly with me, clearly used to people and probably has a home nearby. It seems someone is missing him and really wants him back—I hope we can reunite him with his family soon. If you recognize him, shoot me an email so we can arrange a safe meet near the public library or at Humboldt County Animal Services.
