Gold-tone moonstone drop earrings
I lost my gold-tone moonstone drop earrings yesterday around 3pm in Houma. They’re thin hoops about a half-inch in diameter, with delicate moonstone drops that catch the light, from a local boutique line, Sophie & Luna. One earring has a tiny sapphire bead on the back and the other has a faint crescent moon engraving on the inner side. They were a gift from my sister and mean a lot to me, so I’d really appreciate getting them back if you’ve seen them near the Courthouse Square on Barrow Street in Houma.

I found a mid-size black Samsonite suitcase this afternoon around 4:30 pm, just outside the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center near the Main Street exit. It's in decent shape with a few scuffs on the bottom corner and a red luggage tag stamped with 'J.R.' on the handle. Inside there are a few clothes and a blue packing cube, so it seems like it’s been on a trip. The zipper works, and the trolley handle still extends smoothly. Golden hamster found near Walmart on Grand Caillou Rd
I found a golden-brown Syrian hamster this afternoon around 2:15pm in the Walmart parking lot on Grand Caillou Road in Houma. It was wandering near the cart return, sniffing around a blue PetPals plastic travel cage with a small metal water bottle. The hamster is about 3 inches long, with a white belly and a small white heart-shaped patch on its chest. Its fur is a little dusty from being outside, but it seems healthy overall. The left ear has a tiny notch, and there is a faint scar on its right hind leg I noticed while I checked for injuries. It clearly looks like someone's pet, and I would like to help reunite it with its person. If this is yours, message me and we can set up a quick, safe meetup in downtown Houma.

I found a lutino cockatiel this afternoon around 3:30pm in the parking lot behind the Houma Civic Center on Grand Caillou Road. It's bright yellow with gray wings and orange cheek patches, about 12 inches from beak to tail, and it wears a blue leg band with the code HT-472. The bird seemed calm and hungry, perched on my car antenna for a few minutes before hopping to a nearby palm tree near the entrance. It looks well cared for, not wild, and I’d love to help reunite it with its owner—please reach out if you know this bird.
