Blue U.S. passport missing in Galveston

Galveston Lost listing Posted 2 months ago

Description

I lost my blue U.S. passport yesterday around 3pm near The Tremont House on The Strand in Galveston. It’s in a dark blue cover with the gold seal, a bit worn at the edges, about the size of a standard passport. The back cover has a small coffee stain and a crease along the bottom edge; inside, the photo page shows me wearing a red scarf. There’s also a tiny sticker from the 2023 Galveston Island Arts Fest on the inner sleeve. I really need it back—it’s my travel document and I was supposed to fly next week. If anyone found it near The Strand, outside the Tremont House, or in that area, please reach out. It holds sentimental value because I’ve relied on it for trips and plans I’ve been excited about.

  • Request a clear photo of the item from an angle you did not post.
  • Do not pay any release, shipping, or storage fee.

Meet in a safe, public place
  • Police stations, café entrances, transport hubs, and shop foyers all work.

  • Avoid private homes, car parks at night, or isolated locations.
Bring someone with you
  • Tell a friend or family member where you are meeting and when.
  • Share your live location with them during the handoff.
  • For high-value items, consider contacting your local police station for advice first.
