I found a lovely blue parakeet near the park on Garrison Avenue in Fort Smith. It seems to have escaped from someone's home as it was chirping and flapping around getting a bit agitated. I managed to coax it down and have been keeping it safe at my house. I hope to reunite it with its owner!

I lost my beloved copy of 'The Great Gatsby' while sitting in the Fort Smith Public Library last week. It has my handwritten notes in the margins and a dark blue bookmark that I've had for years. I tried looking everywhere in the library but couldn't find it. I'm really hoping someone might have picked it up by mistake or found it and is willing to return it.
