Around 7:15 p.m. on Friday, December 7, a gust knocked the tote from the balcony railing on Duval Street into a flower bed. The set includes a string of starfish-shaped lights and a handful of handmade ornaments that belonged to my grandmother—sentimental keepsakes I can’t replace. They’re irreplaceable to me, and I’m hoping someone saw them and kept them safe until I can get them back before Christmas.
