Silver necklace with compass pendant

I lost my silver necklace yesterday around 3pm in Florence, Alabama, near the UNA campus on Court Street by the gazebo. It's a slim 18-inch sterling silver chain with a small compass pendant about 1/2 inch in diameter. The pendant has a tiny etched sea-wave pattern on the back and the clasp shows a bit of wear. It slipped off when I stopped to tie my shoes while walking along Court Street; it has sentimental value—my grandfather gave it to me for my birthday, and I really need it back.
