Blue hardcover travel guide
I found a blue hardcover travel guide this afternoon around 3:15pm outside the Eugene Public Library on West 10th Ave, near the bike racks by the main entrance. It's in decent shape with a coffee ring on the back and a bright orange ribbon bookmark sticking out. Inside, there are dog-eared pages and a tiny doodle of a lighthouse on page 142. I figured it probably belongs to someone who loves weekend trips, and I’d really like to see it back with its owner. If this sounds familiar, drop me a note and I’ll arrange getting it back.

I lost my beagle, Charlie, while walking him around Skinner Butte Park in Eugene yesterday evening. He has distinct brown and white markings and tends to get excited around other dogs, which might have led him to wander off. He’s very friendly, so if anyone spots him, please let me know! I really want him back home safe.

I lost my dog leashes on Friday at 7:02 pm near Skinner Butte Park, at the 5th Avenue entrance in Eugene. One leash is navy blue with a yellow loop; the other is plain black. I had paused to untangle a fallen leaf when a breeze whipped down the hill and knocked them from my wrist. The path felt quiet, with only the distant sound of traffic and a gull crying over the river. They are essential for our evening walks, and I can picture them snagged on a low root near the overlook. I am praying someone returns them to the park office.
