I found a blue hardcover travel guide this afternoon around 3:15pm outside the Eugene Public Library on West 10th Ave, near the bike racks by the main entrance. It's in decent shape with a coffee ring on the back and a bright orange ribbon bookmark sticking out. Inside, there are dog-eared pages and a tiny doodle of a lighthouse on page 142. I lost my brown Coach wallet yesterday around 3:15pm after grabbing coffee at the Starbucks on Willamette Street, near the downtown library. It's a compact wallet with a slightly worn exterior and a small coffee stain on the back corner. Inside are my driver's license, a few credit cards, and a faded photo of my grandmother tucked behind the card slots—it was a gift, so it means a lot to me. I last remember having it while I stood in line outside the cafe, then walking toward the bus stop by the library and maybe dropping it near the bike racks by the bookstore. Found guinea pig near downtown Eugene Library
I found a small guinea pig this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the Eugene Public Library on 10th Ave, near the bike racks by the main entrance. It's a fluffy little guy, about the size of a lemon, with tan fur and a white patch on his forehead, black eyes, and a pink nose. He wears a light-blue collar with a tiny silver bell, and there's a small white patch on his left hind leg plus a faint crescent scar behind his left ear—two features that should help his owner identify him. He seems friendly but a bit startled, and he chirps softly when you scoop him up. If this is your pet or you know who it belongs to, I’d love to reconnect you and I can keep him safe.
Silver Yamaha flute in black case found near library
I found a silver Yamaha flute this afternoon around 2:15pm behind the Eugene Public Library on 10th Ave near the bike racks. It's tucked in a black hard case with a couple small dents on the lid. The flute itself looks well cared for, with pearl-like keys and a faint engraving of the initials A.B. near the lip plate. The case has a red inner lining that's a bit faded. It seems to be in good playing condition, just needs a good home again. If you recognize it, drop me a line and we can arrange a safe handoff to reunite it with its owner.
