There are three quilts, each with its own story: a navy one with star patterns, a floral lavender piece, and a bright patchwork that looks well loved. They seemed cared for but a little dusty, like they'd traveled a long way. I picked them up and brought them to a safe spot near the Eugene Public Library, hoping the owner would recognize them and share a memory tied to these fabrics.
