I’m Avery Lane, and I realized I’d lost my sandals around 5:15 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in downtown London, Kentucky, after a short hike at Levi Jackson State Park. I had taken them off for a quick air-out, and when I looked back they were gone. They’re tan leather with a blue strap and a small scuff on the left sole. I’ve worn them for years, and losing them on a busy street after a long drive around this corner of Eastern Kentucky leaves me frustrated and a little embarrassed, but I’m hoping they’re nearby.
