Lost dog: tan-white beagle mix with blue collar
I lost my tan-white beagle mix yesterday around 6pm. He bolted from our yard near the Diamond Jo Casino along the Dubuque riverfront, and I’ve been pacing the block ever since. He’s about 25 pounds, short-haired, with a blue nylon collar and a tiny round orange tag that says 'Rosie.' He has a white blaze on his chest and one ear that flops more than the other, plus a small scar above his left paw. I’m really worried—he’s a rescue and means a lot to us. I found a blue U.S. passport this afternoon around 4:15 pm along the riverwalk near the Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque. The cover is a bit worn, with the gold crest still visible but the corners dog-eared from travel. Inside, the photo page shows a name starting with 'A,' plus a couple of stamped dates from past trips and a faint coffee ring near page 2. There’s also a tiny sticker from a language school on the back cover. It’s a nerve-wracking thing to lose, so I’m hoping to get it back to its rightful owner as soon as possible.
Beagle mix found wearing blue collar near Diamond Jo
Found a dog this afternoon around 4pm near the Diamond Jo Casino on the riverfront in Dubuque. It's a medium-sized beagle mix, mostly brown with white paws and a white blaze on the chest. The dog wears a bright blue nylon collar with a reflective stripe and a bone-shaped tag that reads 'MILO'—the number isn't legible from a distance. He has a small white dot on his left hind leg and seems healthy, friendly, and quick to wag his tail; I gave him water and a bit of treat, and he settled right down.
